1- Top of Column Footing Elevation at Perimeter

I believe most of the contractors hate when they see column footing elevation is higher than wall footing elevation. Most of the time this is the detailer's mistake, sometimes the structural engineer's.

I have seen one job until now. The design Engineer told me, He wants even load distribution on the ground surface, which is not correct anyway. Then He should've use grade beams or mat footings instead.

So keep in mind 99% of the time, Top of Column footings flush with top wall footings.
